The Child Care & Education Working Group aims to help children develop a sense of stewardship and responsibility towards the environment, and a true connection with the land. By experiencing nature firsthand, children can learn to appreciate the beauty and fragility of the natural world, and understand the impact of human actions on the environment. This understanding can inspire them to make more sustainable choices in their own lives and advocate for environmental protection in their communities.
Our children will face more frequent and more acute climate change crises than any generation yet. The next generation needs to be resilient, forward-thinking environmental stewards who can adapt and respond to the challenges that we are facing today and in the future.
