Solar is now more affordable than ever, so there’s never been a better time to consider it for your home.

Across the community solar PV take up has increased in the residential and non-residential sectors, with more than 20% of homes in the Hawkesbury already having solar PV. An acceleration and optimisation of solar PV and grid scale energy storage systems can help reduce emissions, energy costs and increase the community’s energy resilience.

In this free community workshop, you will hear from an independent expert and get advice to see if solar is right for you and your home.

This information session will give you the chance to better understand:

  • How solar power and battery storage systems work
  • How to get the right system for your home
  • Buying good quality solar and battery products
  • What to look for in a solar and battery quote
  • How to find a good installer
  • How Government rebates work

You’ll also get the chance to ask questions of the Hawkesbury Council expert, Ian Moxon.

This in online event and  a Zoom link will be sent to attendees upon registration ( https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/introduction-to-solar-power-batteries-hawkesbury-tickets-600949154097 ).
