Join  the Blue Mountains Community Lunch—Second Sunday Every Month!

Looking for a welcoming space to connect with others in your community? The Plant Inspired initiative and Leura Uniting Church invite you to our monthly community lunches—where local groups, organizations, and residents come together for great food, lively conversation, and new friendships.

Each lunch features a delicious plant-based BBQ menu, live music, and a spotlight on a local community group. This January, we’re celebrating the work of Resilient Blue Mountains and Macquarie Alliance for Climate. Your suggested donation of $20+ helps support these groups, with over $1,233 already raised for local initiatives since October 2025.

Our lunches also serve as a ‘climate café’—a safe, supportive space for anyone experiencing climate anxiety or grief to share and be heard.
